Butterflys and Gems

Been making a few necklaces at night, I have a lot of ideas running around my head for some new pieces so I am hoping to spend a few days making them reality will let you see the finished article.

DAY 21 Saturday 2nd January 2010

"Anything could happen with a little pixie dust" just overheard Peter Pan.

Got to get me some pixie dust!

slept in a bit this morning but still got up and running in time, seen a man walk past the window with a large bird on his arm, which seemed strange then I remembered we were two doors down from the vet!

my commute home was fun, listened to the Blue Danube Waltz and enjoyed my favorite pastime - people watching, they were almost moving in time!

time to relax, day out with the boys tomorrow and not much sleep last night - proving that "the devil wears pampers!" Ethan kept us all up last night and even managed to give corran a nose bleed before finally going to sleep!

Somethings missing

Its too quiet, that is if you ignore my neighbours party upstairs which sounds like its taking place in my room, but hey its a Saturday night and I wouldn't dream of complaining, lets face it when my boys and the dog arrives next week we will be making our own fair share of noise.

But it is too quiet, no fighting over the toy car, no protests about bedtime, no barking at the postman, no pleading for biscuits, no cursing (thats the adults by the way, usually after a near death experience involving the toy minefield) - I know I've hardly had spare time that hasn't been spent in bed or on a 9 hour coach journey with Stephen Segall lookalikes but its at night when I haven't done my round of goodnight kisses that I find myself at a loss.

It will be less that 2 weeks now but oh boy they'll be getting big hugs from mum. And then a 9 hour coach journey but this time they'll be coming with me - yay!

So much talent

Hi

Just back from the Folsky upcycle christmas do - there are so many talented crafters out there and it was great to meet some of them tonight.

Sorry I have not been online recently it has been hectic as you all know.

tomorrow marks the start of my advent giveaway- stay tuned to my twitter tomorrow for details.

Love the tube in London so many interesting faces with probably interesting stories, had one of those moments tonight - business man reasonably attractive standing next to me at Bank waiting on DLR, he smiled I smiled (nice to be nice etc) he then reaches into his pocket and pulls out his wedding ring which he then puts back on his finger. So I am guessing his job is not labour intensive enough to require him to remove jewellery and when I release a girly giggle he confirms my suspicion by shrugging and laughing!

So much to do

My To Do List is growing, there is nothing like a fast approaching deadline to snap you back into action.

But I did tick off a few items like my folksy upcycle project, so I'll get the photographed and uploaded tomorrow.

Everything else is running a little behind but I'll catch up tomorrow - but for now sleep, need to sleep.
